"When I was out of work, had no income and was depleting savings, the scholarship support was like a ray of hope not just financially, but as a symbol of people willing to help me at a very difficult and isolated time in my life."
— Robert, CDS Client

Work and career play a defining role in who we are, how we feel about ourselves, how we live our lives. However, when disrupted or unfulfilling, a career can become an overwhelming concern. Whether it's losing a job, re-entering the workforce or changing careers, the transition can be most difficult. But there is hope and there is help.
Our Career Scholarship Fund fulfills our mission of providing career development opportunities for everyone, to maximize potential regardless of ability to pay for services. Through the contributions of individuals, corporations and foundations, we offer career-counseling scholarships for eligible individuals in the greater Rochester, NY area.
